Characteristics of Teflon rod: The temperature range of use is very wide (from -180 degrees Celsius to+250 degrees Celsius). Basically, it has corrosion resistance to all chemical substances except for some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids. Excellent mechanical properties including anti-aging, especially for bending and swing applications. Outstanding flame retardancy (in accordance with ASTM-D635 and D470 testing procedures, designated as a flame retardant material in air. Excellent insulation properties (regardless of frequency and temperature), extremely low water absorption, and a series of unique properties such as self-lubrication and non adhesion.
Teflon rod
1. Non adhesive: Almost all substances do not adhere to polytetrafluoroethylene coatings. The thin film also exhibits excellent non adhesion performance.
2. Heat resistance: Polytetrafluoroethylene coating has excellent heat and low temperature resistance characteristics. It can withstand high temperatures up to 300 ℃ for a short period of time and can be continuously used between 240 ℃ and 260 ℃. It has significant thermal stability and can work at freezing temperatures without embrittlement, and does not melt at high temperatures.
3. Sliding performance: PTFE coating has a lower coefficient of friction. The friction coefficient changes during load sliding, but the value is only between 0.05 and 0.15.
4. Moisture resistance: The surface of the polytetrafluoroethylene film is free from water and oil, and it is also not easy to get stuck in solution during production operations. If there is a small amount of dirt stuck, it can be easily removed by simply wiping. Short downtime, saving labor hours and improving work efficiency.
5. Wear resistance: It has excellent wear resistance under high loads. Under a certain load, it has the dual advantages of wear resistance and non adhesion.
