Teflon board manufacturer will show you Teflon: Teflon high-performance special coating is a fluoro coating with PTFE as the matrix resin. Its English name is Teflon. Because of its pronunciation, it is often called Teflon, Teflon, Teflon, and so on. Teflon coating is a unique high-performance coating that combines heat resistance, chemical inertness, excellent insulation stability, and low friction. It has comprehensive advantages that other coatings cannot compete with. Its flexibility in application makes it suitable for almost all shapes and sizes of products.
Teflon is divided into several basic types: PTFE, FEP, PFA, and ETFE:
1. Teflon PTFE: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) non stick coating can be used continuously at 260 ℃, with the highest service temperature of 290-300 ℃, extremely low friction coefficient, good wear resistance and excellent chemical stability.
2. Teflon FEP: FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer) non stick coating melts and flows to form a non porous film when baking. It has excellent chemical stability, excellent non stick characteristics, and the maximum use temperature is 200 ℃.
3. Teflon PFA: PFA (perfluoroalkylation) non stick coating, like FEP, melts and flows during baking to form a porous film. The advantage of PFA is that it has a higher continuous use temperature of 260 ℃, stronger stiffness, and is particularly suitable for use in the fields of anti adhesion and chemical resistance under high temperature conditions.
4. Teflon ETFE: ETFE is a copolymer of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene, which is the toughest fluoropolymer and can form a highly durable coating. It has excellent chemical resistance and can work continuously at 150 ℃.
After being coated with Teflon, it has the following characteristics:
1. Non adhesive: Almost all substances do not adhere to Teflon coatings. The thin film also exhibits excellent non adhesion performance.
2. Heat resistance: Teflon coating has excellent heat and low temperature resistance characteristics. It can withstand high temperatures up to 300 ℃ for a short period of time and can be continuously used between 240 ℃ and 260 ℃. It has significant thermal stability and can work at freezing temperatures without embrittlement, and does not melt at high temperatures.
3. Sliding performance: Teflon coating has a lower coefficient of friction. The friction coefficient changes during load sliding, but the value is only between 0.05 and 0.15.
4. Moisture resistance: The surface of the Teflon coating is free from water and oil, and it is also not easy to get stuck in solution during production operations. If there is a small amount of dirt stuck, it can be easily removed by simply wiping. Short downtime, saving labor hours and improving work efficiency.
5. Wear resistance: It has excellent wear resistance under high loads. Under a certain load, it has the dual advantages of wear resistance and non adhesion.
6. Corrosion resistance: Teflon is almost free from chemical corrosion, and can protect parts from any kind of chemical corrosion, such as capacitor medium, guide communication insulation, electrical appliance, instrument insulation, reactor, tank lining, sliding block, sliding plate, gasket seal, gasket, valve seat, valve gasket, piston ring, etc., which are involved in or contacted with, anti-corrosion, electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, low temperature, oil-free self-lubricating, strong acid, strong alkali Strong oxidant products and accessories. All can choose to use polytetrafluoroethylene products.
What are the benefits of Teflon coatings? The surface of the substrate treated with Teflon coating can simultaneously have multiple superior functions: non adhesion, high and low temperature resistance, low friction, corrosion resistance, anti adhesion and moisture resistance, and high insulation.
Why should we apply Teflon coating on the mold? There are many advantages, to mention a few: ensuring complete demolding and significantly reducing scrap rates; Easy demolding, reducing labor intensity; No need for release agents, reducing costs and environmental pollution, and preventing the impact on rubber vulcanization and adhesion; There will be no adhesive particles stuck on the mold, and there is no need to stop the machine to clean the mold, greatly improving production efficiency and reducing mold loss and energy consumption; The surface gloss of the product is uniform, greatly improving the product grade; Teflon coating has excellent adhesion and is not easy to peel off, making it very durable.
Teflon coatings can be applied to various rubber and plastic molds. Chinese resin online products include rubber conveyor belts, tires, shoe molds, rubber tracks, rubber plugs, rubber rollers, rubber pads, film production rollers, rubber gloves, synthetic rubber transmission belts, polyethylene molds, molds for epoxy and phenolic resin products, and other complex molds. Fully reflect the above characteristics.
The application fields of Teflon's non stick characteristics include machinery, automobile, electronic appliances, medicine, paper fiber industry, plastic rubber, chemical industry, food, valve and other parts, household appliances, coffee pot, hamburger steak baking pan, baking pan, various pastry molds, ice making tools, cake frying pan, oven plate, pie plate, juice filter, frying pan, etc.
